Movie of the week – Hustlers

Girls grab your besties buy the prosecco and go and watch the new Jennifer Lopez movie – Hustlers.
The movie is about a new stripper Destiny, who is struggling to earn any money from her job. So she seeks help from stripper pro Ramona (Jennifer Lopez), to show her the ropes.
The story follows the girls highs and lows. They hit hard times after the 2008 stock market/ financial crash. They lost their regulars and their income. So they have to take drastic measures, which seem to work for a while, but they get seriously caught out.
The fact that the movie is set between 2008 – 2014, brings back a nostalgia that you didn’t think needed brought back yet. Think Juicy track suits – yes please! And full on Jenny from the block vibes.
Also there is a cameo from Usher – a completely cheesey cameo from Usher, but it will give you all the feels and leaving you smiling and bopping away to his music from an time when it was good.
