Movie of the week: Hobbs & Shaw
We did not expect to like this movie, but it was actually pretty good. Hilarious throughout, full of cheesey one liners and some really far fetched scenarios, but that is what we have come to expect from the Fast and Furious franchise and Hobbs & Shaw might just be our favourite movies from said franchise to date.
The plot looks something like this – Jason and The Rock are called up for some spy duties, they don’t like each other, they have to find the bad guy (Idris Elba), help the girl, save the world all whilst flexing and being reunited with family.
Ryan Reynolds also shows his face in the movie as The Rock’s handler. He comes across as having a crush on him and making all sorts of comments throughout his conversations that will have you in stitches.
100% worth the watch if you’re a fan of the main actors.
