Movie of the week: Birds of Prey
What a movie! What a movie. The music throughout Birds of Prey was absolutely cracking. Harley Quinn was as crazy as expected. The cast was AMAZING! Very female empowered. We left the cinema happy and also a little bit inspired – which is weird. Not inspired to go and buy a pet hyena and cause havoc, but like we could do whatever we wanted.
We loved the action, albeit a little too much bone breaking for our liking – not a complaint – it’s needed for the movie. But the crunching noises made us cringe. The way Margot Robbie portraits Harley Quinn is cute and loveable although crazy AF.
The fight scenes at the end of the movie are so funny to watch and like nothing we’ve ever seen before. There’s explosions, grenades, baseball bats and so much more.
It’s funny throughout and we would definitely pay to go and see it again. Such a great watch.
