We’ve never really thought to eat at the gym, but that is exactly what we did last Sunday – pretending to work out and then finishing off with a burger is the way to go! We’re kidding – we went to the gym for a full hour first.
The David Lloyd’s menu has definitely changed since the last time we ate there – which was around 4 years a go. There are lots of different options – some healthy and others not as healthy. The good one of us – opted for a healthy superfood salmon salad – and the naughty one went for a chicken burger – and pretended to make it healthy with sweet potato fries. Not as naughty as a double cheeseburger from McDonalds.
The service was fast, the staff were friendly and they don’t mind when you keep asking for ketchup. The only let down to the meal was the side salad that came with the chicken burger – it was so sour.
We’re definitely going back next week to eat up all the pancakes – they sound delicious.
