Spoiler alert – I got my ears pierced
This is not an advert and I paid for the piercings with my own money, I just thought that i’d let you all know about my experience of getting my ears pierced at Claire’s Accessories.
Last bank holiday Monday, I woke up with a random need to go and get my ears pierced. It had to be on that day and having not had a piercing in about 20 years I had no idea where to go and where was open.
Anyways I googled it and landed on Claire’s Accessories. Had a quick look in forums to see if they were any good and it was a split 50/50 opinion. There was a fair amount of negativity towards them – never a bad review, just peoples opinions.
I have to say that I had absolutely zero issues with the way that they pierced my ears. The girls were so lovely and happy to chat and answer every single random question that I had. I told them that I was allergic to nickel and they told me which earrings I was allowed – which was limited to 9ct Gold.
The piercing was so quick and completely painless. It just felt like someone drawing on your ear with a felt tip – which surprised me as last time I got pierced it HURT so much.
It wasn’t embarrassing getting your ears pierced in essentially the middle of the shop, which I thought it would be. I even got to squeeze a teddy bear wearing a tiara whilst I had it done.
I will definitely be going back again – in another week for my 4th piercing.
