Shopping for new Autumn clothes is honestly one of our favourite things to do. There is just something about the fresh crisp air, the continued life hunt to find the perfect chunky jumper and all the newness that hits the stores that just gets us so excited. But ya know, girl needs to budget, but we still want it all. So here is the process of how we pick and choose what makes it into our Autumn wardrobe and what doesn’t
Set a budget
We get so carried away when the Autumn season rolls around. Between us we bought about 17 coats last year. We know it is excessive. So budget setting here really is key. Be realistic, are you needing a whole new wardrobe or just a few little treats throughout the Autumn months to get you up to date with a few key trends?
Go through your home shop – AKA wardrobe
Check what you still love, chuck what you don’t. Go through the whole wardrobe, try things on. If they don’t make you feel happy, move on. Have a quick scroll on some website to see what’s new, when you would like to own and how you would like to style yourself.
Make a Wish List
We write down everything that we need and also everything that we want. We write a list and then mark as must haves, maybes and wild cards.
Get sale ready
Black Friday deals for clothes are coming and it’s always best to be prepared. So this is why we suggest you make a list of what you need first and what you want second. We also bookmark the pages on our computer and check the prices every now and then.
So we are game set and ready at all times.
