How To Be The Best Bridesmaid

bridesmiads eastbourne
So you’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid – one of the most important things that you can share/ enjoy with your bestie. So when you agree – you really need to try and be the best bridesmaid that you can be. This however, does  count on what kind of bride your bestie is. We’re talking to you bridezillas! Ha ha Just kidding. It’s an important role, which comes with a lot of planning (not as much as the bride though), a lot of organising and group texting. So today, we thought that we’d out together a little list of how you can help things run smoothly in the run up and during the actual day.

First up lets talk HEN PARTY.
Now this is about the bride and having a fantastic girls weekend/ night out, whatever it is you all choose to do. So Keep her tastes in mind. Not everyone wants a wild night out, you might go for a weekend away or a lovely spa day – or something action packed that will involve mud and quad bikes. If you’re the planner – be organised, be prepared to group text girls you don’t know. People will drop out, some will argue about money. To help matters it would probably be best to set a budget and stick to it so everyone know what they are getting involved in. Other than that – you’ll enjoy it so much and you’re bestie will have the time of her life.

Say yes to the bridesmaid dress.
She may ask your opinion, but this is a time to be easy. You will like the dress and you will wear it. Not every bridesmaid will be happy with every dress chosen, but it’s the brides day and that is that. Most girls have a vision for their big day and if that dress is in said vision, you should probably be excited.

Document it all
Memory books are so lovely – especially in this day and age where everything is documented on social media. That doesn’t mean don’t put piccies up everywhere and tag all your girls in them. But some pictures are probably left out of sight from the world and laughed at amongst friends.

The Bride always comes first
Help her when she needs candles wrapped in ribbon and name tags added to flip flops – Hayley we’re talking to you on this one. make sure that everything that you are organising and involved in is to her taste every single step of the way. It’s an emotional world wind for the bride and her bridesmaids, so get on it and enjoy the magical day.
