John proposed in Las Vegas June 2012, we decided to set our wedding date for 21st June 2014 (Which would also be our 4 year anniversary).
We wanted a traditional church Wedding which was St Mary’s in Church Street Willingdon, such a beautiful church, set in a little village.
We then held our reception at Blackstock Barn, Hellingly . The only venue we looked at and fell in love with straight away. I really wanted a barn wedding and this venue couldn’t have been any more perfect, with a large outside area for everyone to enjoy the sunshine – luckily for us it was the perfect summers day.
I actually got a lot of inspiration on how to decorate the barn through Pinterest, making personal unique touches without spending a fortune.
We wanted all of our guests to have as much fun as possible , we hired a magician to entertain for a few hours while they relaxed outside in the sunshine! In the Evening, along with a DJ we had a photo booth from Picture Blast set up, everyone got involved for crazy pictures with hilarious props!!
It really was the perfect day… Everything I imagined and more….
