Five vegetarian burgers to try in Eastbourne for National Burger Day
1. The Beanie Mother Frickle at Half Man Half Burger
The Beanie Mother Frickle was Half Man Half Burger’s first vegan special and it looks so AMAZING! What is The Beanie Mother Frickle? It’s Bean patty, burger sauce, caramelised red onions, vegan cheese, deep-fried pickles in tempura batter, shredded iceberg. Sounds good.
2. Dirty Linda at 7Bone Burger Co
This burger is the best non meat burger in the whole wide world! The Dirty Linda consists of chicken fried halloumi, American cheese, dirty slaw, 7bbq sauce. Nothing else to say about that except go and eat it ASAP!
3. Veggie Burger at Bibendum
The veggie burger at Bibendum is HUGE and comes with homemade veggie patty served in a toasted brioche bun with salad, sliced beef tomato, red onion & pepper salsa with a side of fries & coleslaw. We didn’t manage to finish this one off though as it really was so much food.
4. The Veggie One at Rodmill
We haven’t had one of these from the Rodmill, but we’ve heard good things about their veggie and vegan offerings. This veggie burger includes – Grilled halloumi in a sweet chilli sauce with mayo. Topped with fried onions and tomato salsa. Anything with halloumi in is a winner with us.

5. Vegan Burger at The Lamb Inn in Hooe
The Lamb Inn have a really great menu as a whole, but also have a fab vegan and vegetarian offering. This vegan burger being one of them. It is a spiced chickpea, aubergine and spinach burger which is on a rustic roll, dressed with a spiced red pepper sauce, served with a pesto & tomato dip and a kale and cauliflower couscous salad. Sounds delicious.
