6 fun and cheap things to do in Eastbourne
It seems like January has lasted 345 million days already, but we’re finally coming to an end. For most of you, you may not get paid until after the weekend – le sigh – but that’s not too far off – way hay!
But if that’s you – hopefully this will give you a few things to do over the weekend.
Coffee and people watch: Get yourself down to the seafront, grab yourself a coffee and people watch. If it’s a sunny day – we could people watch all day long. And also complain about those pesky seagulls.
Visit the pier and grab a bag of chips: You can’t visit the seaside without a trip to the pier and a must have bag of chips. There are so many chippy places to choose from, all relatively cheap. Just don’t look at a seagull or feed a seagull!
Walk The Seven Sisters: Everyone’s all about the new year, new me this month. So why not skip the gym membership and get yourself up to the Seven Sisters, exercise, take in the view and have some fun.
Museums: We’re lucky to have quite a few museums in Eastbourne – the Towner Art Gallery being one of them. What’s good about this one you ask? It’s free admission. There is also the Eastbourne Heritage Centre – which is a £3 admission fee for adults and only £1 for children. If you’re like us, you’ve probably never thought to visit the museums – EVER – so why not give it a go.
Play crazy golf: Is there anything as fun as crazy golf? Well yes a million things – but it is a laugh – doesn’t cost too much and you will have a great time loosing your balls, trying to get a hole in one and stop yourself from falling over in the wind.
