Easy Peasy Mulled Wine

We’re enjoying all things Christmas at the moment – Ginger bread house decorating (which we will share with you tomorrow), mince pie eating, Christmas albums on repeat and most importantly mulled wine drinking. So we thought we’d share with some of you mulled wine newbies – the cheats way to make mulled wine. We only discovered this last year – which is ridiculous – but then again we only really started drinking mulled wine last year.

If you are like us, why not give this a try. It’s the most perfect drink – obviously after our festive prosecco candy floss cocktail (seen here).  So grab the girls and get mulled wine making (well heating up – it’s already made).

You will need the mulled wine of your choice – we grabbed this one from Tesco, but we actually prefer the one from Asda – always sold out though when we are there. Oranges – although not necessary, cinnamon sticks – again not necessary – it just looks festive. Lastly – heat proof glasses.

Pop it all into a saucepan, simmer until warmed through – et voila – that is it. Pop it in the glasses and drink whilst still warm. If you would like it a little sweeter add a bit of sugar in whilst you are heating it. Taste it whilst stirring – to be sure.

You can also heat it up in the microwave when you go back for seconds – just give it 30secs and you’re good to go.

We always love to see what you all get up to – so don’t forget to tag us in your festive snaps and always tag us in anything you do in Eastbourne.

Also check back tomorrow – we’ve just discovered that strawberry mulled wine exists and we’re dying to give that a go – so if successful we might just share it with you.
