Drusillas has announced that this will be the final few days to visit the farm animal section as they will be closing this for something new. The farm are will be open to visitors up until Thursday (27th Feb).
They released a statement over on Facey B and this is what they had to say …
“We’re transforming our farm area into a brand new, interactive, farm-themed space where your little ones can explore a fun hands-on experience.
As part of this exciting development, we have made the difficult decision to close our farm and find loving new homes for all our farm animals.
This closure will come into effect on 28th February
A key factor behind this decision is the growing risk of environmental diseases, which can impact farm animals, visitors, and the wider zoo community – and due to the way our farm was originally designed (many years ago!) we needed to rethink how we welcome you into the space.
*The farm animals have found lovely new homes so don’t worry about that*
**The new hands on experience is open to admission ticket holders and will not need any extra payment to enter**
***Although it is interactive it will not involve screens***
****This is just for farm animals not the zoo animals****
