Get merry this weekend with these festive events in Eastbourne


Meads Magic
When: Nov 29th – 2.30pm – 7pm
The annual meads magic will be happening this Friday. The road will be closed off, Santa will be preset and we’ve heard that there will be mulled wine.

Santa’s sleigh tour

When: Nov 29th onwards
Santa sleigh tour starts Friday 29th Nov, with some dates of the tour. More dates will be announced, so keep your eyes peeled.

The Snowman at The beacon 

When: Nov 30th – 11am – 3pm
If you’d like to meet The Snowman, it will be happening on  Saturday 30 November at The Beacon. He’ll be making several appearances between 11am and 3pm.

The Tiger Inn Tree Lighting

When: Dec 1st – 4pm – 9pm 
They will be lighting their outdoor Christmas tree, serving mulled wine and hot chocolate in the heated Christmas marquee. There will also be some great music starting with Willowisp followed by carollers. Santa might even be popping in for a hot chocolate or two.

Advent carols by candlelight 

When: Dec 1st – 4pm – 5pm St Mary’s Church
Traditional carols will be sung and then mulled wine and minced pies will be given out afterwards.

Raystede Christmas fair

When: Nov 30th – 10am – 4pm
There will be festive music, Santa of course, donkey herd and lots of dogs – if you bring your own that is. They are welcome to the fair.
