Yes, it is time, it’s finally cold so Christmas starts now apparently and it’s time to get festive.
Here are the festive events happening in Eastbourne this weekend – we didn’t realise how many events were actually happening, but it’s a lot …
Christmas Market at Sharnfold
When: Sat 23rd Nov // 11am – 3pm
There will be over 40 stalls for you to check out, including Christmas decorations, treats, gifts, home made produce, beauty, cards, jewellery and much much more.
The cafe will also be open for you to head to when you need warming up.
Community Wise Christmas Sale
When: Sat 23rd Nov // 10am – 12pm
Where: Motcombe Hall
There will be a huge selection of cards, decorations, books, themed jumpers, stocking fillers, artificial trees and other bits and bobs.
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at The Grove Theatre
When: Sat 23rd Nov // 2pm – 4pm
Not technically Christmas, but we’ve included anyways. This is a musical adaptation of the classic. There will also be shadow puppets, live music and a BSL singer.
Christmas Market pop up at All Saints Old Chapel
When: Sat 23rd Nov // 10am – 3pm
There will be a diverse range of over 40 sellers, including hand crafted goods, artwork, fashion, homeware, ceramics and more.
Entry fee is £2.50
Rathfinny Christmas Shopping Weekend
When: 23rd – 24th Nov // 10am – 5pm
Browse what the local vineyard has to offer and grab some Christmas pressies. All customers will be treated to a glass of Sussex sparkling to get you in the festive spirit.
The hut will also be open for drinkies, snacks and hot drinks.
Sussex Christmas Fayre at The Cavendish Hotel
When: 24th Nov // 11am – 3pm
Motcombe school choir will be singing at the opening of.
There will be lots of stalls to get you Christmas ready.

Winter Extravaganza at Polegate School
When: 22nd Nov // 5pm – 7pm
There will be games, Christmas gift and craft stalls
There will be fireworks at 6.30pm.

Christmas Fayre at St Andrews Parish Hall
When: Sat 23rd Nov // 10am – 12pm
Santa will be thre ready and waiting. A gift bag and professional photo is £10

Christmas food and wine pairing at Rathfinny
When: 24th Nov // 1.30pm – 3.30pm
£40 per person and you will get a vineyard tour, then a tasting of bubbles with festive pairings. You can find out what you will be tasting in the booking link.
You’ll probably find us there tbh, sounds like a great Sunday afternoon.
