There are so many Christmas events happening in Eastbourne this weekend – which means the festive season is officially here. We’re heading to Meads Magic of course, but let us know what you get up to. We will be adding to this list throughout the week, but there is so much going on, we thought we better publish it ASAP.
Tennessee Country Christmas Show
When: 28th Nov // 7.30pm
A Tennessee Christmas celebrates Christmas favourites in a Country Style with some of the biggest selling hits from Country Superstars.

Meads Magic
When: 29th Nov // 2.30pm

Hailsham Christmas Light Switch On
When: 29th Nov // 4pm – Vicarage Field
Santa will be handing out free sweets to the kiddos at the event and pupils from Hailsham Community College and Primary Academy Schools will be carol singing before the Christmas light switch on, which will take place at 6pm.
Christmas Craft Fair
When: 30th Nov – 10am – 5pm // 1st Dec – 10am – 4pm at the Enterprise Centre
You will be able to purchase handmade stocking fillers and beautiful Christmas gifts. There will be ceramics, textiles, pottery, glasswork, contemporary jewellery, artwork, interior & home accessories.
Advent Concert at All Saints’ Church
When: 30th Nov // 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Eastbourne Choral Society will sing advent themed music from Bach, Lauridsen, Chilcott and McDowells.

Polegate Christmas market
When: 30th Nov // 2pm – 5pm
There will of course be stalls , live entertainment, a DJ , charity raffle, and o the annual turning on of the Christmas tree lights outside Polegate Town Council Offices.

Eastbourne Christmas Light Switch On
When: 30th Nov // 10am – 7pm
Christmas lights will be switched on at 6pm. Terminus Rd
All day event. There will be funfair rides, stalls, street vendors and live music.

You Raise Me Up Christmas Craft Fair
When: 30th Nov // 10am – 12pm – Stone Cross memorial hall

Christmas Fayre at Chalk Farm Hotel
When: 1st Dec // 11am – 3pm
Santa will be there – you can eat and drink yummy food. Enter the raffles and have a go on the Tombola. There will be a lucky dip and a Christmas Cracker word game for le kiddos with a sweet treat at the end. You can also buy reindeer food and there will be dancing elves.
Christmas Concert at St Saviour’s Church
When: 1st Dec // 6pm – 9pm
Star of The Voice UK, Nadia Eide, presents a spectacular Christmas concert, singing festive favourites and classic songs.

Christmas with the Salvation Army
When: 1st Dec // 3pm – The Royal Hippodrome
Annual Christmas carol concert. Tickets are £15.
