Celebrate Afternoon Tea Week And Try These 5 Places In Eastbourne

Celebrate afternoon tea week and try these 5 places in Eastbourne

It’s afternoon tea week and we will take any excuse to spend an afternoon eating cakes and chatting with friends. So to celebrate you absolutely have to book yourself in somewhere. Luckily for all of us – Eastbourne isn’t short on places to go for afternoon tea. There are so many to choose from – most traditional and some not so traditional. Here are 5 places to go for afternoon tea in Eastbourne this weekend.

Honeybee Donuts
An afternoon tea but different. At Honeybee Donuts you get the most food that we have ever had for an afternoon tea. Including a huge donut each – which we were very happy about – but they had to come home in doggy bags for us. 100% recommend giving this one a try.

P.s. they need 24 hours notice for an afternoon tea bookings.

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne
Not just for a special occasion – The Grand Hotels afternoon tea is delicious – just add prosecco and you’re winning.

Bistrot Pierre
Not one we’ve ever tried before – but this comes highly recommended by you guys as voted for over on the Eastbourne Lifestyle Instagram page here.

The View Hotel
We haven’t tried the standard afternoon tea at The View Hotel – but we did have the Christmas afternoon tea a few years back now. It was delicious. And also the views were lovely.
They have recently launched a luxury afternoon tea, which you can read about here.

Hydro Hotel
One of our fail safe go to’s – you know what you’re getting -it’s an absolute bargain and if you eat it in the conservatory on a sunny day – you have the most perfect afternoon tea atmosphere.
