We all love cheese and we have so much left over from Christmas, with a goal of finishing it all before the New Year. We know such a terrible goal. Any who we’ve been thinking of ways to use the up without the usual crackers and cheese board and here is one way we’ve tested out today and it was so so so good!
You will need:
1 camembert
Bread loaf
Garlic butter
Pop the oven on at 180 and then grab yourself a bread knife and cut around the camembert and chop off the top of the bread in the size of the cheese.
Once you’ve done that – it should look like the above piccy. Make sure your camembert can fit in the hole that you made and if not, make it a little bit bigger.
Once thats done, grab a tablespoon and the pick out the bread that is in the hole. You will be able to scoop it all out in one if you start scooping from the bottom.
Melt your garlic butter in the microwave and then spread it all over the hole.
Then it’s time for the best bit – the cheese! Cut the top off of the camembert and then put it in the whole that you’ve already made in the bread.
Now it’s time to put the top of the bread back on the loaf and then put it in the oven at 180 for 15-20 minutes. The timing does vary – after 20 minutes – this time it wasn’t ready. And it went back in for another 5 minutes until it was done.
Once you’ve checked that the camembert is melted throughout it’s time to eat it all up. Share of you like, but we suggest that you keep it all to yourself.
