Brighton’s Pride events have been cancelled and so has the Eastbourne Pride Parade
Last week it was announced that Brighton’s Pride had now been cancelled, this comes after it was announced as going ahead in Feb. The decision to cancel is for the same reason as last year – Covid. They want everyone to remain safe and for the Covid numbers to remain low.
And yesterday it has been announced that the Eastbourne Pride Parade will no longer be going ahead. In an announcement over on the Eastbourne Pride FB page the organisers stated that ….
“We have decided to cancel the 2021 Parade so we can focus on safely hosting our event at Princes Park, and supporting the afterparty at Eastbourne Bandstand. We will be contacting everyone that was participating in the Parade with more details and ensuring you have a spot reserved for 2022!“
Not all is lost – the after party is still happening. You can find out more information about the after party and how to book tickets here.
