Roast dinners we’ve eaten and loved so far this Autumn/ Winter in Eastbourne
We’ve come to the end of our roast dinner reviews for the year, you have one full one coming up tomorrow but then that is it. We have enjoyed trying out some of Eastbourne’s finest roast dinners over the last couple of months and the ones of this list are 100% recommended for us and you should try them all out as well. So here they are – in no particular order – but here are our faves.
The Artisan at The View Hotel
Really great carvery available with all of the trimmings. Also kids eat for free – so an absolute bargain. You can read our full review of The View Hotel roast dinner here.
The Lamb Inn in Hooe
If you’ve got a big appetite then this is a great option. Even better if you’re hungover. The roast potatoes and parsnips were cooked soooooo amazingly well. We absolutely loved it. You can read our full review of the roast dinner at The Lamb Inn in Hooe here.
The Heron Pub
An absolute great find in Westham. All of this for under £10. Absolute bargain. All the trimmings on one plate with a whole lotta gravy. Yes please! You can read the full review of roast dinner at The Heron here.
The Holly Blue
This will be the review going live tomorrow morning. The Holly Blue. What an absolute find. We got there at midday, which was a great time to go as you beat the Sunday roast crowds. Definitely recommended.
The Beachy Head Pub
The biggest roast we’ve had so far with the biggest roast potatoes that we have ever seen. Actually huge! You can read our review of The Beachy Head pub here.
The Farm
Love love loved this roast dinner. It came out so beautifully presented and it tasted great as well. The yorkshire pudding was delicious and cauliflower cheese comes with and not an added extra. You can read our full review of The Farm here.
