Local School Boy Designs Bath Bomb For Lush, For World Bath Bomb Day

It’s not everyday a child becomes a global product designer, but that dream became a reality for Eastbourne school boy, Griffin, when global beauty brand, Lush, turned his creation into reality for their World Bath Bomb Day collection, launching globally on Thursday 24th April 2025. The 8-year-old was inspired by a nursery song when designing The Sun Has Got Its Hat On bath bomb, and was ecstatic to hear his design had been chosen by Lush for the exclusive collection. Jack, his father, has been a supervisor at the Lush Eastbourne store for 5 years and is ‘so proud’ of his son’s achievement.

He’s always designing, always drawing, always squirreling away ‘interesting’ pieces of recycling for junk modeling. He doesn’t stop. He will have written a story about a mouse or made a new version of his favourite Pokemon before it’s even light outside. Seeing him this excited makes every stepped-on Lego and pen stain on the carpet worth it,” said Jack, Griffin’s dad.

Griffin and his dad are celebrating his achievement by hosting a ‘Meet The Creator’ event at Lush Eastbourne on Saturday 26th April and Sunday 27th April. Customers can get hands on creating their very own bath bomb to take home with fun activities to put creativity to the test.
