Asda has just released the 2024 menu for the Valentine’s dine in for two £12 meal deal. Which is such a BARGAIN.
Nothing tops a romantic night in, and with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Asda’s new Bistro Dine in for 2 offer is sure to get hearts racing. Costing just £12 for a starter, main, two sides, dessert and a drink, the unbeatable bundle will help lovebirds have a restaurant-quality meal at home this February 14th – without the price tag.
Shoppers can set the mood with one of seven different tasty starters. Highlights include the Bistro Coquille St Jacques – a union of Coldwater prawns and scallops in a mouth-watering extra mature cheddar and Sauvignon Blanc sauce, finished with a buttered crumb. Or, for plant-based paramours, the all-new Bistro Vegan Brie Hearts with a sweet chilli jam are sure to please.
When it comes to the main event, customers are set to be smitten with ten delectable options to choose from. A Valentine’s Day classic for a reason, diners will love the Bistro 30-Day Matured Sirloin Steaks with Garlic & Herb Love Heart Butters. Or for something a little different, the new Bistro Herb-Crusted Canon of Pork Loin is sure to fit the bill – a unique cut of meat accompanied by a delectable Norfolk cider and apple jus. Veggies and vegans are of course catered for too, with the new Bistro Chestnut Mushroom Stroganoff Pie as the star of the show. Two tasty shortcrust base pies are combined with creamy slow-cooked chestnut mushroom filling, topped with a puff pastry lid adorned with a puff pastry heart.
For their bit on the side, shoppers can choose not one, but two delicious dishes to accompany their meal. Highlights include the new Bistro Parmesan Fries with Smokey Garlic Butter, which sees British potatoes lightly fried in golden batter for a crispy exterior, paired with love-heart-shaped smokey butter pellets. The Bistro Roasted Chantenay Carrots with Sweet & Sticky Maple Dressing will be a match made in heaven with any main, whilst the creamy Bistro Cauliflower Cheese is an indulgent side dish sure to complete any cosy night in.
There’s always room for dessert, and Asda’s new options will have everyone falling head over heels. New for this year, Asda’s Bistro Valentine’s Profiteroles will go down a treat, with six choux pastry cases filled with Irish cream mousse, topped with Belgian chocolate fondant and decorated with red lustred chocolate hearts. Or, for something a little lighter but equally as delicious, the Bistro Strawberries with Belgian Chocolate Dipping Sauce are the perfect choice to finish off a romantic evening.
Alongside their three-course meal, shoppers will also be able to choose from a selection of wines and soft drink options. For those looking for something sparkling to toast the night, Asda’s Marques Del Norte Cava Brut is a classic Spanish sparkling wine with fresh and crisp apple flavours, whilst, for a non-alcoholic option, the Kylie Minogue Alcohol Free Sparkling Rose is refreshing and finely balanced. Shoppers can also pick up the elegant and zesty Kakapo Wine of New Zealand or the dark and peppery La Moneda Premium Collection Malbec as part of the deal.
