We know this isn’t in Eastbourne, but it’s not that far and it really is worth this visit. Juliets is a cafe on the High Street in Tunbridge Wells. It is always so so so busy, so do remember to book in advance so you won’t be disappointed. You can book your afternoon tea at Juliets here.
The afternoon tea is £15.50 per person, which gives you 3 cakes, 2 scones and finger sandwiches, also multiple cups of tea. They have a cute tea selection that you can view here.
If you’re feeling a bit like celebrating the fact that you’re having afternoon tea, you can opt for a glass of prosecco or a bellini for an extra £5.50. That is what we did – the bellini was so good, we could have had way more that just the one.
The sandwiches were the usual cucumber, egg and salmon. Scones are plain and others not. Cakes we had were brownies, some meringue lemon tart and then – what we can only explain as a carrot cake victoria sponge. All were really yummy.
Juliets catered for a large group of us as, for a baby shower – 16 if we remember correctly. There was so much food that we got doggy bags at the end of it all.
The staff were lovely and very helpful and even with our 1000s of demands, they kept a smile on their face.
We would 100% recommend Juliets in Tunbridge Wells for any occasion, We will most definitely be going back – most probably with our Mums.
Lets us know if you will be going to Juliets for afternoon tea or if you have already been.
