We weren’t intending on reviewing this afternoon tea at Bill’s, just because we were too busy enjoying the day. However when we uploaded a picture of it on our Facebook on Saturday – our Facebook and inbox went pretty mental. It’s nice to know you’re all reading. So as requested here is our review of Bill’s afternoon tea.
We felt that it was a bit of a secret that they did afternoon tea, only because it was on a separate menu – not on the main and we had to do a lot of looking – a toddler who’s name we won’t mention (ha ha), happened to be hogging said menu as her own so we nearly missed it. It’s an absolutely amazing price – £9.95 for the standard tea and only £12.95 for their sparkling afternoon tea. You could choose a Bucks Fizz, Elderflower fizz of champagne. We went for the champagne and it tasted absolutely amazing! So we 100% suggest that you go for the £12.95 option.
You get a selection of sandwiches, which were ham, cucumber, egg and salmon. We opted out from the fish and they gave us some extra egg, which was perfect. The scones were so yummy and not too big, that you couldn’t make it to the cake.
You got 4 cake slices, to share between the 2, which, surprisingly was more than enough. Out favourite was the tart, then the lemon slice followed by the chocolate brownie. The last one was fully licked by the Libby (the toddler), so we left that for her royal highness to devour 😉

We would also like to add that the guy who served us was so lovely and so polite and when we paid the bill, her came over with a bag of Easter eggs for Libby, which literally made her day.
