Good quality pizza, amazing prices and fab staff at Pizzarelli, Old Town
Pizzarelli: What
We’re so excited to share this post with because 1. We love pizza, 2. We love new restaurants coming to Eastbourne and 3. They do take away – winner! Pizzarelli is hidden away at the lower ground of The Tally Ho, in Old Town. Blink and you will probably miss it or mistake it for just a takeaway. It is also a takeaway, but inside it is one cosy, quirky restaurant that you’re not going to want to miss out on. Eastbourne is Pizzarelli’s 3rd location, which is great news for you readers in Worthing and also Hastings – you can all do a happy pizza dance. Also it has a HUGE pizza illuminated sign in the restaurant – which makes us stupidly happy.
We loved this lego pizza stand set up
Pizzarelli: Food
So on to the best part – the pizza. We are HUGE pizza fans here at Eastbourne Lifestyle. It’s all about the burgers and the pizza, so obviously we were really excited to go to Pizzarelli for the first time ever. The pizza menu is different, we can tell you that much. Not bad different, but good different. The starters – we decided to share as we didn’t want to peak to quickly. However one each would have been totally do-able – next time – next time. The pizzas were so good – proper pizzas, tasty and far too much to finish off in one sitting. However they do offer to box it up and take home with you when you leave. We like those kind of restaurants. Which is especially good if you plan to fit in some pudding. Next pizzas on the list to try will be the Parma Pizza, which has no sauce, walnuts, brie, parma ham, mozzarella and parmesan – sounds tasty right?
Pizzarelli: Verdict
The verdict – we loved it. Every single thing about it. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and funny. They really made it. If only we could remember our waiters name – he was great. The food was delicious. And the price was absolutely ridiculously cheap – two courses were £9 and three courses were £12.99. Absolute bargain if you ask us. The only bad thing we could say is that we were too full for pudding, which was such a shame as it sounded so yummy. Next time we’ll start with pudding. That’s acceptable right?
Make sure you follow Pizzarelli on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest goodies and offerings and check out the menu here. Now please excuse us, writing this post has made us HUNGRY!
