A fantastic Sunday roast hidden away in Pevensey
We went down to The Heron pub in Pevensey a couple of weekends back as we found out that they do a Sunday roast and for research purposes we had to head down to test it out. There are 2 roast dinner options, which are both under £10 – under £10 guys – absolute bargain.
We were there bang on midday and the pub was lovely and quiet, so we must have beat the Sunday rush. The roast dinner options available were beef and turkey, so we had one of each. The roast dinner itself comes with absolutely everything included. Stuffing – included, cauliflower cheese – included, Yorkshire pudding – included and a huge gravy dish full of all the gravy that you might need. As you can see from the pictures, we weren’t short on roast potatoes either.
Everything was cooked fantastically. Everything that you could want from a roast dinner, you will find here.
You are left feeling lovely and full, but with space for pudding or a glass of wine, or both.
Definitely recommend popping down here on a Sunday afternoon. Great roast dinner at a fantastic price and somewhere you could spend the whole afternoon having a couple of drinks if you wanted to.
