Oh we’re so excited, we’ve got some up and coming holidays, finally some sunshine, but more importantly what are we going to pack? We’ve got to think logically guys, we only get 20 kg these days and that doesn’t carry all that much. So today we thought that we would round up the 7 must have holiday essentials for you to pack.
The beach bag
The straw beach bag has definitely made a come back this year, did it ever leave? We don’t know, but it’s never been something that we had to have before. This year however, it’s all about the straw beach bag. We’ve spied some amazing ones from TK Maxx – Currently stocked in the Eastbourne TK Maxx right now. Also this beach bag from Accessorize and this striped beach bag is on the must buy list.
The sun hat
We’re not sure if the sun hat has become a fashion accessory or whether we’re getting old, but for the first time EVER a hat made it into the holiday wardrobe. There are so many around in the shops at the moment, but for purse friendly hats we’d suggest this one from Florence and Fred and also a quick look at Primark’s hat selections as they have quite a few at fabulous prices.
The striped dress
The striped Summer dress is a must have for this season. Although we haven’t spied any in Eastbourne, Zara has a gorgeous off the shoulder version, recently seen on Dakota Fanning.
The off the shoulder dress for only £15
Again an absolute MUST have for this Summer. If you want to buy an off the shoulder dress in Eastbourne we suggest having a little looksie at Dolled Up’s Summer stock – They are based at The Enterprise Centre.
The boho top
A fave every single Summer, we’re loving this one from River Island and this off the shoulder top from Primark. Primark have so many off the shoulder tops in stock at the moment – but you really do have to hunt for them. They are all hidden at the back of the racks – sneaky people.
Statement sunnies
It’s a holiday tradition for us to buy a new pair of sunnies every singe holiday. They don’t have to be expensive, in fact, this years holiday sunnies cost around £3. Again you’ll find some great, cheap sunnies in Primark. These flat lens avaiators from Topshop are definitely a must buy and these ones from River Island are also pretty awesome.
The perfect bikini
Bikini is an obvious holiday must have and we like to have bikinis that we feel comfortable in. Last year we were loving the high waisted bikinis (which we are still wearing now), but we’re also loving the off the shoulder bikini style and also the bra style bikini, like this one from Matalan.
