7 Delicious Burgers To Eat In Eastbourne To Celebrate National Burger Day

It’s National Burger Day and what better way to celebrate, than with a burger. Sadly a lot of our fave burger places have closed down, but only to have been replaced with some other great options. So here is where we would be eating today for National burger Day in Eastbourne.

Chuck & Blade
If you haven’t been here before, you need to go. The burgers are incredible. We go on a  Tuesday usually because it’s buy one get one free.
But if you can’t make it on a Tuesday, they have a really great sharing deal, which is called a Trashy Tray. And you get two burgers of your choice, loaded with fries of your choice, 3 chicken tenders topped with fresh chillies and sesame seeds drizzled in Korean BBQ sauce. 6 chunky deep-fried halloumi, drizzled with pomegranate molasses & garlic mayo and a large milkshake all for £35. We can’t remember the name of the burger we usually order, but it comes with a big pot of gravy to dip.

Bibendum
We have never been disappointed by a meal at Bibendums. You know that every time you go, you’re going to get great food every single time. So of course we has to add them to the burger list.
Currently, they have an 8oz gourmet beef burger on the menu, served with toasted brioche bun and smoked bacon, cheese, salad, beef tomato & burger relish, finished with fries & a side of coleslaw. And we all know that, that side of coleslaw makes the burger.

5th Avenue
Would you believe it if we told you taht we still haven’t made it to 5th Avenue. But if the rumours are true, the burgers are bangin’ and that’s good enough for us. We would go for the pastrami burger, it has blue cheese so we were immediately sold on that.

Bill’s
If Bill’s do one thing well, it’s a burger. We have never been let down, it’s always a 10/10 and the chips are delicious. So of course we had to add this to the list.
The burger in the picture is a Summer special – BBQ Jerk Chicken Burger.
The burger has chargrilled jerk BBQ chicken, mango & lime salsa, sweet potato fries, and fresh pineapple.

The Dew Drop
The Dew Drop excel at burger creations and they switch it up every single month with a new burger special.
This months burger special is called ‘Jerking it’s way back to you.’ And in that burger you will find jerk chicken thigh or vegan jerk chick*n, fried plantain, purple ‘slaw, spring onion, coriander and jerk mayo.

BirdHaus

Sometimes good, sometimes mediocre, but on the good times the burgers and sides were absolutely delicious and we would go as far as saying a fave burger.
Last time we went we had the parm chicken burger which was stunning and a side of messy fries and tater tots. So good.

Bistrot Pierre
Food with a view is always a firm fave and we love a Bistrot burger and a glass of vino.
