7 Beauty items we’ve bought and loved this month
Primark’s Fake It Mascara £2.50
We’ve never even thought about trying any of the Primark make up range. But we were all bored of our everyday mascaras so we decided to give this one a go. The thoughts so far is that is it great for wearing to work, It doesn’t budge during the day and it comes off easy enough in the evening with Micellar water. We are currently using this one.
Primark’s Matte setting spray £4
Another Primarni recommendation and we can confirm that it does keep the make up on throughout the whole day! Also a bargain at £4.
Primark’s Instant Tan
Yup another Primark find – Primark’s own range instant tan is brilliant. Currently using the dark formula and it gives a great colour. This would be a fab product for a night out or if you’re heading out with the girls and the sunshine magically comes out. However it is not waterproof and if any water lands on you the tan will run.
L’oreal CC Cream £10.99
It’s been a while since we wanted to use CC cream and this one was only used again because there was no foundation. We forgot how good it was. It gives a great colour and covers minor blemishes. Not the product if you’re trying to cover acne or severe rosacea flushing.

NYX Bare WIth Me Hydrating Jelly primer
This is a fab product if you’re trying to smooth out your skin and make your pores less visible so it ticks all the boxes for us.

Elemis pro collagen marine cream
This is our morning go to – just before we apply foundation of CC cream. It’s good for concealing lines and making your skin look fresh. And more importantly it is hydrating.

Nivea Shower Gel with Aloe Vera
This shower gel smells just like suntan lotion and we love it. And as it has aloe vera it will be great for when we eventually get some sunshine.
