On Thursday 16th November & 17th November at 7pm, you will be able to book yourself in for a 6 course tasting menu at The Sussex Ox in Alfriston.
The 6 course tasting menu is £65 per person and an additional £30 if you would like to take part in the wine tasting.
The 6 course tasting menu will start with Jerusalem artichoke and truffle cappuccino, then on to pan-roasted pigeon breast with pickled blackberry jam, toasted almonds and beetroot puree. The next dish will be mini rabbit pie which comes with buttered pomme puree, toffee apple and chocolate jus. Moving on to roasted venison with parsnip puree, sweet potato dauphinoise, confit garlic, thyme and port sauce.
Which all sounds delicious and then on to the sweet section – Cherry sorbet and then plum souffle with vanilla shortbread.
