5 reasons to go and watch Bohemian Rhapsody
Now this movie was not initially on our MUST WATCH list. We have embarrassingly never been fans of Queen. We also thought Queen dies last year? Although we now know that Queen is in fact a band and not just one person. However we absolutely loved everything about this movie. Here are 5 reasons for you to go and watch Bohemian Rhapsody immediately.
1. The Music
The number one reason has to be the music. It is AMAZING. We may not have enjoyed Queens music before we went in to that cinema, but we certainly enjoyed it during and after. We even downloaded the soundtrack as soon as we left the cinema.
2. The one liners
It’s actually quite a funny movie throughout. It does have some great one liners such as ‘you look like an angry lizard’ – which has zero context to you, unless you’ve seen the movie. Also ‘You will be called Miami Beach’, absolutely cracked us up.
3. Rami Malek
What an actor. We can’t way how well he portrayed Freddie Mercury as we didn’t know much about the singer before the movie. However we felt all the feels. What a fantastic performance and such a great voice.
4. Live Aid
To see how big Live Aid actually was and what a special moment it must of been for any artist to have been involved (we were just born, so we missed the actual event). It was a pinnacle event in Queens career and a great ending to a fantastic movie.
5. Ben Hardy
We always do a happy dance when we see Ben Hardy do a movie. It makes us feel proud that he has made it onto the big screen after his days as Ian Beale’s son on Eastenders. Yay Ben.
