We are massive fans of afternoon tea here and it seems like you all love it as much as we do. It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed any new places for afternoon tea in Eastbourne so we thought we’d better remind you of a few of the best.
The Cavendish Hotel
We’re going to call this – the all you can eat buffet of afternoon tea. We had the celebration tea and it there was so much food it was amazing. Everything was amazing. If you’ve got a special occasion coming up we suggest you visit The Cavendish Hotel. You can read our full review here.
The Hydro Hotel
The best value for money and they do have a few different options, so you don’t have to have the whole afternoon tea. For example you can skip the cakes – but we don’t know why you would want to do that. You can read our full review here.
Bill’s
For something a bit different we’d suggest you go to Bill’s the atmosphere is a bit different to a usual hotel atmosphere. The cake selection is a bit more risque, but it does work. We only wish they allowed more sandwiches! We always want more – you ca read the full review here.
Patisserie Valerie
The cakes aren’t the best but you get mini quiches included, so that pretty much sold us. The amount of food that you get is absolutely perfect for 2 people and maybe 3 if you all wanted a little lunch. You can read our full review here.
The CumberlandĀ
This is another special occasion afternoon tea and it’s a great price for all that you get. Bubbles, strawberries and cream plus the normal afternoon tea food. Everything was just lovely and beautifully presented. You can read the full review here.
