A great spot for when you’re in town and starving, but want to grab a quick bite outside. It isn’t really in the sun that much, but ya know, on a day like today the shade would have been a great idea. Check out the Zizi website to see what deals they have on offer. They always have something.
Simply Italian
For a lovely lazy lunch in the sun with the girls, Simply Italian is the place to be. Girls talk, pasta and lots and lots of wine – the perfect way to spend an afternoon lunch.
Hollywell Tea Chalet
This is our Sunday morning haunt. It’s nicely sheltered from the wind, plenty of outdoor seating, cheap food prices and a wide variety of food on the menu.
The Beach Deck
Of course we couldn’t leave The Beach Deck out of this list. It’s the biggest sun trap of the lot, a fabulous view of the seafront, great food and friendly service. Do expect to wait a bit for a seat outside as every single person in Eastbourne has the same idea, but it’s worth the wait. Read our review of The Beach Deck here.
