3 spots for pumpkin picking in and around Eastbourne this half term
We’re not too sure if pumpkin picking was always popular in England and we just never realised it existed or if it’s just become so popular now, that more and more people are doing it. When we first discovered Sharnfold Farm’s pumpkin patch about 4 years a go now, we were so excited and happy to see orange. We bought so many pumpkins that year to decorate and carve. We’ve seen a few more pop up around the place now (not in Eastbourne), so we thought we’s share some of the closest to us.
Sharnfold FarmÂ
You all know by now we’re obsessed with Sharnfold Farm – OBSESSED. The pumpkin patch is different every single year and this year is super cute. You can read our post about the Sharnfold Farm pumpkin patch here.
Sompting Pumpkin PatchÂ
We’ve not personally been to this one and it is the other side of Brighton, but it looks fantastic. You can go and pick your own pumpkins, grab a wheel barrow and you’re off. They have them in all shapes and sizes for you to pick as long as you can pick it up and pop it in the wheel barrow it’s yours. Entry to the pumpkin patch is free. You can find out more information about Sompting pumpkin patch here.

Tulleys Farm
Another HUGE pumpkin patch here. Definitely worth the trip over for some Halloween activities as well. Lots and lots going on, the kids will love it. They also have a lot of Cinderella style pumpkins just waiting to be picked. You can find out all about it here.
