Lemon water is not new, but it is new to us, we joined the lemon water club a week a go after hearing about all the health benefits that drinking lemon water in the morning has. So we’re on day 4, and we’re growing to like it. have we noticed any difference yet? No, but we’re sure we will at some point. If anything it’s gets us closer to our 2 litres of water a day and it tastes surprisingly nice.
1. Aids Digestion – So if you’re bloated, this would be good for you. It helps to remove the toxins from your digestion tract, whilst de-bloating. Also we hear that if you burp a lot, this might help.
2. Clear Skin – Lemons are full of antioxidants which, which can help stop those pesky break outs and also wrinkles – that is news to us – but we will definitely be drinking more if that is the case.
3. Gives you an energy boost – If you’re like us you will probably only drink coffee and Diet Coke, which although can give you a quick energy fix, it doesn’t last long and you are left feeling sluggish and feeling blah! This is the main reason we reached for the lemon water. We’re not giving up the fizzy drinks just yet, but we’re at just one 500ml bottle a day and no coffee and we haven’t felt sluggish one bit. We’re putting this down to the lemon water as we can’t think if what else it could be.
