Eastbourne has some amazing restaurants with some fabulous meals and these are our current must eats ….
Ribs at Ribs & Co
Ok ok, so it’s not in Eastbourne, but it’s in Hailsham and that’s like a whole five minutes away. You need to go and try the ribs at Ribs & Co. Go all out – it’s worth it and very well prices. They also do a Rib Fest night – all you can eat ribs for a set price. Go forth and see how many you can eat? The title so far (not for us it was a Ribs & Co regular) is 8 ribs with sides and a milkshake.
Fillet steak at The Lamb Inn in Hooe
This counts as Eastbourne for us because it’s 2 seconds up the road and we’re pretty sure we live in Eastbourne. One of the best we’ve had in Eastbourne. Great taste and not too many sides. Highly recommended.
Blade of beef at The Farm
Quite possibly one of the top ten meals we have had this year and we’ve eaten out a lot. The blade of beef was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately it was on the specials menu, but you never know, they might just have it back on special next time you visit.
Halloumi burger at 7 Bone Burger Co
An halloumi is 100% not something we would actively pick when going for a burger – we’re all about the meat. However we were swayed with the funny name – Dirty Linda – and also we thought it was a chicken burger – ha ha! It was absolutely insane and probably up there with the BEST burger we may have had this year and it wasn’t even beef. DELICIOUS!
Sea bass at Thai Terre
Great food, great service, fantastic sea bass – we went in not liking fish and ate a lot of fish and loved it. Definitely recommend this place and the sea bass is a MUST.
Chilli Fries at Old dave’s Gourmet Burger Co
You really can’t beat Old Dave’s chilli fries. Best ones in town we would say – open for discussion – let us know your thoughts on that one as we hear that some of you have very strong opinions on chilli fries in Eastbourne.
Pork Belly Bears Bar & Grill
Another – not in Eastbourne – but not that far from Eastbourne special. Say hello to the shiny new restaurant in Bexhill. We mean this place is a must eat – it was AMAZING the whole meal but the pork belly was something else. Want it again right now and was only £12.95 – which was an absolute bargain for the amount of food you got. La la loved this and suggest you go and order one immediately.
Pancakes at Amy’s Cafe
Amy’s cafe will always always be on the list for the most fantastic pancakes ever! Go and try them as soon as possible – they are so good you’ll want Amy to make them for you – every. single. day.
Paella at Flamenco’s
You must try the meat paella at Flamenco’s. It is so tasty and you will not want to stop eating it. If you’re ordering with other tapas dishes, we suggest that you share this one as it’s pretty big and eat it first as you don’t want to be too full and not be able to finish it off. On the plus side – you can ask for a doggy bag and eat it the next day.
Breakfast burger at The Beach Kitchen
What is a breakfast burger we hear you say? Its a bun with breakfasty goodness inside. Think bacon, sausage, hash browns and a seasoned omelette. It’s nap inducing for sure, but oh so good.
